General pond medications may solve parasitic infestations but are seldom effective against physical ulcers, wounds, fin rot, etc. Going that extra distance and treating the fish topically will be more effective and potentially life saving! This kit has be compiled to be used by beginner or experienced fish keeper alike.

The secret to successful treatment is to catch the problem early and do something about it. Only in exceptional circumstances will a Koi have the ability to heal without treatment. Also a certain amount of persistence is required. It is quite common to do extra treatment as necessary. This topical treatment kit can be used at any temperature any time of the year, though it must be pointed out the Koi will heal quicker if the water temperature is above 15c (60f) Do not be put off if you cannot achieve that temperature at the time of treatment, keeping the wound clean and free of bacteria at any temperature is very beneficial.

An alcohol spray based on highly effective Acriflavine , this treatment will penetrate any wound taking the active acriflavine with it.

Other water-based products will just wash off, our alcohol based product is absorbed into the surface layers of tissue, killing pathogenic bacteria and speeding up the healing process.

Anti Bacterial Ulcer / Wound Spray Available in 100ml spray bottles.

Propolis is natures natural defender, containing high potency bioflavanoids from bee propolis.

This is a non-chemical product for use as a topical treatment for external wounds/ulcers. Propolis is suitable for use on all pond and tropical fish.

Directions:
Dry the wound / ulcer area, spray the propolis liquid over the affexted area, blow the liquid dry for approximately 10 seconds then return back to the pond/tank.

Repeat every 3-4 days until new skin tissue is evident. Do not spray directly on to gills or eyes.

This wound cleaner is used topically by spraying as a pre-cleanser on open wounds, prior to further wound medication. Can be sprayed onto stainless steel surgical instruments as a steriliser before use.
