Anti-foam is non-toxic and can be used in any pond to eliminate the foam caused by a build up of by products of fish metabolism and during the breakdown of uneaten food and fish plant waste. Anti-foam is also useful for features such as fountains both indoors and out.

Chlor-Go rapidly removes chlorine, chloramine and heavy metals such as zinc, copper and lead from tap water allowing fresh tap water to be added directly to the pond without putting fish in any danger from these potentially toxic substances. Chlor-Go has a calming effect on fish being transported, it should always be used in transportation bags and isolation tanks regardless of whether or not tap water has been used.

The buffer capacity of pond water is the ability of pond water to maintain the pH at the correct level for the survival of your fish. The metabolism of fish in the pond tends to use up KH buffer and if this is not replaced can lead to sudden pH crash causing death of fish, frequently at night. It is advised to test KH regularly with Pondlab Hardness Test Kit and maintain the KH level above 6 degrees carbonate hardness.

Occasionally the pH can rise and become more alkaline than is beneficial to the health of fish causing stress and encouraging algae. Pond pH Down helps to reduce pH and can be used to maintain a pH of 6-8. Use in conjunction with Pondlab pH test kit.
