The latest introduction of Ozone producers for a wider range of ponds.

These new Ozone units have an LED indicator to confirm operation and also to indicate when the cells need replacing.

They are available in Four new models:

SL-200 a 1 cell unit for ponds up to 15,000 Litres

SL-202 a 2 cell unit for ponds up to 30,000 Litres

SL-204 a 3 cell unit for ponds up to 45,000 Litres

SL-206 a 4 cell unit for ponds up to 60,000 Litres

The replacement cells are available in packs of 5

Ozone (O₃) is a highly reactive allotrope of Oxygen (O₂) and a powerful oxidising agent. It is used in the treatment of water ponds to minimize bacterial growth, control parasites and remove or reduce green water. As the Ozone rapidly decomposes, at correctly controlled levels the application has no effect on the fish.

Advantages of the Ozone-Micro-Cell

• Slow development of an increased redox-potential - optimum levels of all water parameters are maintained through the continuous presence of oxygen.
• Permanent micro-disinfection prevents a one-sided increase of e.g. pathogenic germs like Aeromonas salmonicidae, that have a detrimental effect on the equal expansion of an aerobe environment.
• No immediate threat to fish from increased ozone input compared to an ozone generator with electrical discharge.
• Toxic reactions from overdose levels do not occur.
• No surplus ozone produced.
• No personal risk in enclosed filter areas, as tolerated levels are never achieved.
• Capacity can be adapted according to pond size by using multiple Ozone-Micro-Cells.
• Maintenance, requires only the replacement of the reasonably priced cell cores ( 2 - 4 times a year, dependant on water quality/hardness/pollution).
• This method of ozone production does not require dried air which produces sulphuric acid in the electrode chamber that often causes the pH to drop into the acid range.
• Ozone produced by electrolysis is highly efficient and effective.
