 Here at the Japanese Koi Company we pride ourselves on stocking a good quality selection of Reptiles and Amphibians. We strive to make sure all of our animals are looked after in the best possible way. Through a good mixture of knowledge, experience and a passionate interest in reptiles we aim to cater for all of their specific husbandry requirements from dietary needs to living conditions.
 We always aim to obtain captive bred stock where possible, keeping animals that are born in captivity within this country helps to keep the stress on the animal down to a minimum. Captive bred stock is born into an environment better suited to be kept as a companion animal; a captive bred animal decreases the pressures on the natural world and rewards breeders for hard work and dedication to the love of animals A captive bred animal will be more used to people, a captive enclosure and will be in far better health both physically and mentally.
We do our very best to ensure that every animal is sold in a healthy condition with the correct equipment and knowledge. Exotic animals are regarded as more difficult to keep as pets but we believe with the right attitude and knowledge these specific needs can be met and often the needs of the animals are considered in such detail that they can thrive and enjoy a happy and healthy life. It is often the cast that people go beyond what is needed to ensure a reptile has a life that mimics that of a wild animal!
We work very closely with both vets and local authorities to make sure our animals are looked after and treated properly, we help to re-home any animals that require it and only sell animals to people we are sure will do their best to look after them properly. We stock everything needed to look after these animals from food, enclosures and decoration to veterinary products.
